21/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) has elected its new bureau with British criminologist Silvia Casale as its President for the next two years. Italian specialist in prison matters Mauro Palma and Estonian psychiatrist Andres Lehmets are her new Vice-Presidents.
