21/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has given its green light to the acquisition of sole control of the sensors and controls businesses of Texas Instruments Inc. of the US, by Bain Capital Investors LLC (a private equity investment company). The operation is estimated to be worth USD 3 billion and will be examined under simplified procedure.
