Brussels, 01/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - Taking part in round table discussions on the role of Italy in the relaunch of the Lisbon Strategy, to be held on the initiative of Unioncamere, in Brussels on 16 March (and 15 March as previously stated in EUROPE 9131) will be, among others, Luca Mantellassi, President of the Florence Chamber of Commerce and Vice-President of Eurochambres, and Alessandro Barberis, President of the Turin Chamber of Commerce and Vice-President of Unioncamere Piemonte. Under discussion will be a study carried out by Eurochambres, with Unioncamere, on the twenty five national reform plans put forward within the context of the revised Lisbon Strategy. At European level, the Chambers of Commerce are calling for specific recommendations from the European Commission for each Member State, a debate to be held before each Spring Summit at the European Parliament with representatives of national parliaments taking part and a strong system of governance.
