Extension of mandates for special EU representatives

Brussels, 21/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the Council adopted, without debate, several common actions and appointed till February 2007 Peter Semneby (Sweden) as Special Representative for the European Union to the Southern Caucasus (replacing Heikki Talvitie from Finland), and extending till 28 February 2007, mandates for the special representatives to: - the African Great Lakes, Aldo Ajello from Italy; - Afghanistan, Francesc Vendrell from Spain; - Moldova, Adriaan Jacobovits de...
