Brussels, 21/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - The latest Eurobarometer survey entitled “Europeans and their languages” reveals that a large majority of Europeans (83%) think it is quite useful or very useful to know a language other than their own. Carried out in November and December 2005 on a sample of 29,000 people from the 25 Member States, plus Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Croatia, the survey shows the increasing interest among Europeans for foreign languages and their belief that...
