21/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - Milan Horacek, a Czech member of the Greens/EFA group at the European Parliament, has issued a press release welcoming the prospect that the Greens will enter the Prague Parliament after the elections of 2 and 3 June. According to the STEM Institute, our party is set to achieve 5.6% of the vote and, according to the public television channel, 5.8%, he announced, adding that in a televised debate last weekend between the Minister for industry, Milan Urban, and Martin Bursik, who is the top of the Greens' list, 78% of spectators voiced their wishes for Green members to take their seats in the Czech parliament.
