Brussels, 09/02/2006 (Agence Europe) - On 9 February at the Conference of Leaders of Political Groups of the European Parliament, there was no majority for including Mittal's hostile takeover bid for Arcelor on the agenda for the plenary session next week in Strasbourg. Despite the insistence of the Left, other political groups, particularly the EPP-ED, confirmed their unwillingness to hold such a debate at this stage.
