The Dutch group, AKZO NOBEL, is reorganising its activities. The pharmaceuticals sector, from which it plans to totally disinvest in 2 or 3 years' time, will form a separate entity from the chemicals and paint activities. It will be called ORGANON BIOSCIENCES and will group the current pharmaceutical division, ORGANON, and animal health division, INTERVET, and will have an annual turnover of EUR 3.5 billion.
