ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

The German conglomerate, THYSSENKRUPP, has carried out the acquisition of two companies, one in the United Kingdom and the other in Canada. The former is METALFAST (annual turnover EUR 18 billion with 80 employed) and the second VPK METALS (annual turnover EUR 90 million with 260 employed). The cost of the deal was not disclosed.
