Gehrer, Haubner and Morak at Parliament - MEPs condemn budget cut threat to education, youth and culture programmes

Brussels, 25/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - At the culture and education committee meeting on Tuesday, the Austrian Presidency's priorities in education, youth and culture were set out.

Education: “The aim is quality!” was to be the slogan in training and education, stressed Elisabeth Gehrer, Education, Science and Culture Minister. Quality which should also be guaranteed to people with disability and the weakest. In February, the Presidency will attend to the finalisation of a joint report...
