Austrian health minister focuses on women's health - children's medicines regulation may be finished in June

Brussels, 25/01/2006 (Agence Europe) - Austrian health minister Maria Rauch-Kallat presented the Austrian Presidency's health programme on 24 January to MEPs on the European Parliament's Health and Environment Committees, who described it as 'ambitious'. The minister discussed several health problems like the excess rate of nosocomial infections, but focussed at length on women's health problems, the subject of a meeting in Vienna on 25/26 April.
