Committee backs action plan in State aid field - Neelie Kroes stresses Committee's role as “generator and disseminator of ideas and collector of responses”

Brussels, 16/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - During its plenary on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Anne-Marie Sigmund, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) adopted the opinion of Antonello Pezzini (Employers, Italy) on the Commission's discussion paper the “State Aid Action Plan” for less but better targeted aid: a roadmap for reform of State aid 2005-2009 (EUROPE 9032).
