Gilles Savary asks Jose Manuel Barroso to keep his promises on sensitive French boroughs

Brussels, 16/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a letter to Jose Manuel Barroso on Wednesday, French PES MEP Gilles Savary asked the President of the European Commission to keep his promises on sensitive French boroughs and housing estates by giving France more time to spend the EUR 46 mil of Structural Funds earmarked for it for 2003 but not yet spent (which would otherwise return to the EU's general budget on 31 December 2005).
