06/12/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending EUR 200 million to ADIF (Administrator de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias), that manages rail infrastructure in Spain, for the construction of a 155 km long high speed line (AVE) between Malaga and Cordoue. The 30-year loan is the first part of a one billion euro finance plan and covers 47% of the total cost of the project.
