30/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Member States of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) have appointed Angel Gurria, former Mexican foreign minister and finance minister, as its new Secretary General. Fifty-five year old Gurria will take over from former Canadian minister Donald J. Johnston on 1 June 2006.
