Brussels, 04/11/2005 (Agence Europe) - The agenda for the 8 November ECOFIN Council will focus on taxation. The EU's economics and finance ministers will examine a compromise on cut-rate VAT unveiled by the British Presidency in September (see Europe 9045) and take note of progress in simplifying VAT forms for companies operating in more than one country.
