170 MEPs in favour of protecting freedom of research

Brussels, 28/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - 170 members of the European Parliament, from different political groups, signed an open letter to José Manuel Barroso on Thursday 27 October, with British Conservative John Purvis and Luxembourg Socialist Robert Goebbels, on research on human stem cells of embryonic origin.
