Infringement proceedings against seven Member States over financial services, insurance and public procurement

Brussels, 18/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to refer six Member States to the European Court of Justice over financial services and public procurement (Austria, Finland, France, Greece, Portugal and Sweden), to send reasoned opinions to Italy and Sweden over insurance, and to close a case against Malta.
