IAEA upbeat on prospects for renewed talks

Brussels, 18/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - IAEA Director and 2005 Nobel Peace Prize winner Mohamed El-Baradei said on Tuesday he was confident about prospects for rapidly renewed talks with Teheran over its nuclear programme. The IAEA will be meeting on 24 November to decide whether to send Iran to the UN Security Council, particularly if the talks have not resumed by then.
