18/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - Andrew Duff (ALDE, UK) and Johannes Voggenhuber (Green, Austria), European Parliament Constitutional Affairs Committee co-rapporteurs on the period of reflection on the future of Europe, said on Tuesday that they would be outlining their draft report and reactions to the Commission's Plan D at a press conference in Brussels on Friday 21 October. The report recommends seeking wider consensus and active citizen and civil society involvement on the real challenges facing the European Constitution. It urges MEPs and MPs to draw up a unique European framework for the reflection period.
