11/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - Scheduled for October, the draft directive on cross-border payments will not now be adopted by the European Commission until November at the earliest (see Europe 9030). The directive aims to eliminate juridical and technical differences between Member States preventing the launch of a European payment area.
