Verheugen and Johnson announce European Enterprise Awards

Brussels, 11/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of the Competitiveness Council of 11 October in Luxembourg (see other article), Industry Commissioner Günter Verheugen and the British Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and President-in-Office of the Council, Alan Johnson, presented the new European Enterprise Awards intended to reward local and regional initiatives aimed at encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, promoting business creation in disadvantaged areas...
