Commissioner Almunia to take part in WSBI and ESBG launch of transatlantic retail banking forum

Brussels, 11/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The World Savings Banks Institute (WSBI) and the European Savings Bank Group (ESBG) are to hold the first conference of the transatlantic retail banking Forum in Brussels on 14 and 15 November. The forum, which will be launched at this conference, will constitute an informal network of professionals from the worlds of politics, academia and business, aiming to develop better mutual understanding of retail banking systems in force in the European Union...
