11/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner phoned Pakistan's Foreign Minister Kursheed Kasuri to offer immediate EU aid after the earthquake in Kashmir and beyond that has killed tens of thousands of people, along with more long-term Commission support to rebuild the affected areas (see Europe 9045). A press release explains that the European Commission is examining the option of adjusting the funding earmarked for Pakistan for 2002-2006...
