Carla del Ponte says Zagreb is fully cooperating with ICTY - Last obstacle to opening membership talks is lifted

Luxembourg, 03/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The General Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Carla del Ponte, told EU foreign ministers on 3 October that, in her view, the government of Croatia has been fully cooperating with the ICTY “for a few weeks now”. If the Member States share this assessment - and there is no reason why they should not, all the more as they have always underlined the vital importance that they attach to Ms del Ponte's...
