In Parliament's view, objective of 25% green energy as share of Union's total consumption by 2020 is ambitious but “feasible”

Strasbourg, 03/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - Following Luxembourg Green Claude Turmes, the author of the own-initiative report on “the share of renewable energy in the EU and proposals for concrete actions”, the European Parliament last Thursday adopted by a large majority a resolution inviting the Commission and the Member States to step up the development of renewable energies.
