03/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - France has requested registration under the EU regulation on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for the 'Clementine de Corse', published in Official Journal C240 of 30 September 2005. The Clementine de Corse (Corsican Clementine) is a pipless clementine (Citrus clementina) of a reddish-orange colour, minimum juice content of 42%, a tart taste and sold with one or two leaves attached to the stalk.
