Luxembourg, 03/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the EU's foreign ministers again urged Iran to meet the measures requested by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), including reinstating a full suspension of all fuel cycle activities and returning to the negotiating table. The Council reaffirmed 'the EU's support for a diplomatic solution to international concerns over Iran's nuclear programme, which should include an agreement on long-term arrangements. Such a solution would help create the climate for a better relationship with Europe and the international community as a whole. The EU's preferred approach remains the resumption of negotiations within the framework agreed in Paris last November. The EU urges Iran to take the steps necessary to make this possible.'
