Loan of 500 million EUR to suport Plan Hôpital 2007 in France

Brussels, 21/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - In support of the Plan Hôpital 2007, the EIB has granted a loan of 500 million EUR to the French Ministry for health in order to pay for the accelerated modernisation of hospitals in France. Under the Plan Hôpital 2007, the French State plans to make some 10 billion EUR in additional investments available to its hospital establishments over five years.
