EP calls for EUR 854.2 million for Progress (2007-2013)

Brussels, 07/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Karin Jöns (PES, Germany) on the Community programme, Progress (aid to implementation of EU objectives in employment and social affairs field), on Tuesday in Strasbourg, with many amendments, the EP calls for the financial allocation earmarked for implementation of Progress to be increased by around EUR 225.2 million, bringing it to EUR 854.2 million for the period 2007-2013.
