07/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of newly created company SGK Servicegesellschaft Kreditmanagement (SGK) of Germany by WestLB AG, Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale AöR (NordLB), both of Germany, Shinsei Bank Ltd. (Shinsei) of Japan and J.C.Flowers & Co., and LLC (Flowers) of the US. The joint venture will provide services to German private banks.
