Assembly calls on European countries to provide better response to mental health needs

Strasbourg, 27/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - The adoption last week in Strasbourg by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, of the report by French Socialist Claude Evin, on the mental heath needs in Europe, means that the “volume of budgetary funding for mental health is an indicator of the prevailing idea of the human being in a given society”.
