27/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - In an interview in the Guardian on 27 June, the British minister for European affairs Douglas Alexander was asked if he was a “passionate European, like Tony Blair”. He answered that, “I am a practical European…I am passionate about social justice and it's wrong that 20 million people across Europe are unemployed…to be a pro-European was also to be pro-reform and it's not a betrayal to acknowledge the weaknesses of the institutions of Europe”.
