Political agreements on protecting subterranean water and on INSPIRE initiative to great satisfaction of outgoing Luxembourg Presidency

Brussels, 27/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - After considerable efforts and to the great satisfaction of the Luxembourg Environment Minister, Lucien Lux, the outgoing Luxembourg Presidency managed to obtain on Friday in Luxembourg a political agreement by qualified majority of the Environment Council on the proposal of directive on protection of subterranean waters against pollution.
