31/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - Last Thursday the European Parliament adopted in first reading (co-decision), the report of Britta Thomsen (PES, Denmark) on the multiannual programme for enterprise and the sprit of enterprise for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (2001-2005). The Parliament amended the text by bringing the amount up to EUR 538.5 million whereas the Commission had proposed EUR 531.5 million.
