26/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - On the eve of the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe this week in Strasbourg, Peter Liese MEP (CDU) launched an appeal to the Assembly to reaffirm its opposition to euthanasia. In a press release, Liese calls on members to reject the positions of Swiss Liberal Dick Marty in his report on caring for the sick at the end of their lives.
