Germany not obliged to take into account bonuses to detached workers when assessing their salaries

Brussels, 19/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a ruling on the “Commission versus Germany”, the Court indicated that Germany is not obliged to take into account the bonuses paid to detached workers when assessing their minimum salaries. Bonuses for quality work, work in dirty, insalubrious or dangerous conditions do not constitute elements to imperatively take into account when working out minimum salaries, it concluded.
