19/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control of UK company Crown Entertainment and Crown Media International of the US by 3i Group (3i) of the UK and Providence Equity Offshore Partners IV (Providence) of the US. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
