International Energy Agency wants more liberalisation in Turkey

Brussels, 19/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The International Energy Agency (IEA) welcomed the measures taken by Turkey for liberalising its energy markets but called on the country to go further. With an all-encompassing liberalisation in sight, the IEA 2005 report on energy policy in Turkey appreciates the 2001 law on the electricity and natural gas markets but contains some points of criticism.
