Strasbourg, 15/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Parliament adopted the timetable of its 2006 sessions. After rejecting the usual amendments aimed at doing away with the Monday and Thursday sittings in Strasbourg, it followed the proposal made by its conference of political group presidents which provides for 12 three and a half day sessions in Strasbourg and six two and a half day sessions in Brussels. In 2006, the Parliament will meet: from 16 to 19 January in Strasbourg; 1 and 2 February in Brussels; from 13 to 16 February in Strasbourg; from 13 to 16 March in Strasbourg; on 22/23 March in Brussels; from 3 to 6 April in Strasbourg; on 26/27 April in Brussels; from 15 to 18 May in Strasbourg; on 31 May and 1 June in Brussels; from 12 to 15 June in Strasbourg; from 3 to 6 July in Strasbourg; from 4 to 7 September and from 25 to 28 September in Strasbourg; on 11/12 October in Brussels; from 23 to 26 October in Strasbourg; from 13 to 16 November in Strasbourg; on 29/30 November in Brussels; and from 11 to 14 December in Strasbourg.
