Brussels, 15/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - Jean-Claude Juncker, who was in Washington for the “Finance” G7, got a surprise invitation to visit George Bush in his Oval Office, for a meeting which was also attended by Condoleezza Rice, according to a press release by the Luxembourg Presidency, which goes on to state that Mr Juncker laid out the “European position on a possible lifting of the embargo on arms sales to China” (see other article). Other themes discussed include peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians, the situations in Iraq and Kyrgyzstan, and the EU/Russia Summit of 10 May.
