As president of EMPA, Josep Borrell will visit Tunisia for his first visit to the southern Mediterranean - misunderstandings and reservations confirmed following Cairo session

Brussels, 24/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Friday the president of the European Parliament, Josep Borrell, will be going to Tunisia as part of his role as president of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly. Mr Borrell was elected on 15 March during the joint institution's plenary session in Cairo taking over from the president of the Egyptian parliament (EUROPE 8909).
