24/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - Cypriot president Tassos Papadopoulos reaffirmed on Wednesday when he returned to the European Council of Brussels that if as planned accession negotiations are opened for the EU on 3 October, turkey has to agree to the protocol extending EU/Turkey customs union to the ten new Member States which joined the European Union, including Cyprus.
