52% no and 48% yes according to latest poll - MEPs appeal for yes among members of the Assemblée nationale

Brussels, 21/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - According to an Ipsos poll published on Monday in Le Figaro, 52% of French people asked will vote no in the referendum on the European Constitution on 29 May, and only 48% will vote yes (respectively 51% and 49% according to a poll on Friday morning). Le Figaro indicated that among supporters of the “parliamentary left”, 55% favour a 'no' and 45% favour a 'yes', whereas among supporters of the “parliamentary right” the 'yes' outweighs the 'no'...
