Brussels, 04/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Employment and Social Affairs Ministers of the EU on Thursday adopted the conclusions on the social dimension of globalisation, emphasising the need to step up cooperation within the Union and at international level to ensure that global governance will guarantee coordination of economic and social policies, the participation of the social partners and civil society, and respect for the concept of “decent work” and basic labour standards.
