The Spanish FAGOR ELECTRODOMESTICOS (turnover of 909 million EUR in 2003) is to acquire the French BRANDT (turnover of 850 million EUR with 4700 employees). FAGOR holds 10% of BRANDT's capital and is negotiating the purchase of the remaining 90% with its owner, the Israeli ELCO.
