EU welcomes Paris declaration on aid effectiveness and commits to stepping up pace of harmonising aid procedures and coordination

Brussels, 04/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - Jean-Louis Schiltz, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Minister, who represented the EU at the High Level Forum on aid effectiveness in Paris from 28 February to 2 March, has welcomed the results obtained.

Organised under the aegis of the OECD, the World Bank, the United Nations and regional development banks, this international forum brought together ministers and senior civil servants from the major donor countries, as well...
