04/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The referendum on the European Constitution will be held in France on 29 May. President Chirac voiced his intentions of calling the referendum as soon as possible a few weeks ago, to avoid any confusion with the issue of Turkey's accession to the EU, amongst other things.
