04/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The purchase project of Shell Gas, a subsidiary of the group Shell Petroleum Company Limited in Portugal by the Spanish oil company Repsol Butano has been approved by the Commission. The new entity will become the third-biggest actor on the Portuguese market after BP and Galp, but the operation will not interfere with competition on the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) market, said the Commission.
