Brussels, 08/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - In adopting the own initiative report by the Czech MEP Jiri Mastalka (GUE/NGL) entitled “Promoting health and safety in the workplace”, the European Parliament Committee on Employment and Social Affairs has emphasised the role of preventing risks of workplace accidents and long-term health risks. The report will be discussed at the February plenary session in Strasbourg.
